We’re kicking off DUSK with a complimentary yoga class on Friday & Saturday before the festival. Get your zen on with us before rocking out in the crowd this weekend.
Start your day off with yoga on Friday at 10 AM with Phoenix based yoga teacher, Dre Dygert, and DUSK performing artist, DJ YKNOT. This upbeat Vinyasa Flow class set to trap, hip-hop and future bass by DJ YKNOT will have you buzzing with good vibes and zen energy for the rest of the day.
The class is free to public, and all levels are welcome. We will begin promptly at 10 am near Stage 2 on the festival grounds, so we recommend arriving 15 minutes early to ensure a spot. Class will be approximately one hour. Don’t forget to bring water and a yoga mat.
About Dre & DJ YKNOT
Phoenix based yoga teacher, Dre Dygert, happened upon yoga at her gym by accident in 2007, and was surprised how mentally and physically challenging the class was. She found yoga more effective and transformational than the cardio and weight workouts she had been doing. She began practicing yoga regularly, and after noticing major positive shifts in herself and her life, she took her first yoga teacher training in Power Vinyasa less than one year later. She then followed up with over 1000 additional hours of training in Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Buti Yoga, Baptiste Power Yoga, and Prana Vinyasa.
Dre believes that the best yoga teachers are always students, and makes it a priority to continuously learn by taking additional trainings and getting outside her comfort zone. She loves to teach Vinyasa Flow paired with trap music and hip hop, and employs creative sequencing and humor in her classes. She believes a yoga class can be fun, empowering, inspiring, relaxing and transformative all at the same time. Follow her on IG: @yogabydre
